Catch-Up Premium

In July 2020 the government announced catch-up funding for every school to support children to catch up lost learning time after school closure and to support schools to resume teaching a normal curriculum as quickly as possible following partial or full school closure.

Capel Manor Primary School was allocated: £31,120

How we have planned to spend the money?

* Employment of a qualified and experienced teacher 3 days a week to plan and deliver small group tuition in KS1 and KS2

* Using a National Tutor Partner - Third Space - to deliver 1-1 online maths tutoring for children in Years 4, 5 and 6.

How will we assess the effect of this expenditure on the educational attainment of pupils at the school?

Ongoing Assessment records related to targeted aspects of learning as well as termly attainment data will support analysis progress for pupils who have received catch-up support.
